I’ve always been fascinated by exploring. As a kid growing up near the forest, I would run or bike for hours on end, simply because I was curious about what could be on the other side of that hill or past the next tree line.

When I learned how to kite, that horizon suddenly expanded far beyond the forest.

What attracted me most to kitesurfing as a kid was the freedom it gave me. All I needed was wind, water, and a kitesurfing setup. With that, I could explore the lakes near my home and, eventually, the North Sea.

Over the years, that curiosity grew into a passion for kitesurfing and took me far from my hometown. It became a sport that combines everything I love: freedom, adventure, exploration, and the unknown.
