The Kite Mag - Cape Town 2024

My first ever cover shot was together with The Kite Mag. So, when I heard that I had another opportunity to shoot a cover for their magazine I got excited. We traveled to a bit of an unusual location in Cape Town for kiting. When we got near the location the mountain next to it was on fire. The Police had blocked the road and asked where we are going, I told them the little beach just 2km down the road to shoot some kitesurfing photos. I don’t think he fully understood what this meant but he let us go through. About 30 minutes later I was kiting between the narrow rocks and helicopters to get that one shot that we had in mind. The wind unfortunately wasn’t what we had hoped for but the howl scene around it created an unforgettable Moring with some beautiful photos.
