When I started planning the project “The Real Stig Ireland” I had certain photos in mind. And this photo was one of them. Even though there are loads of sheep on Achill Island it’s still not a given that we would be able to make the photo since most things we can control but there is one thing we cannot control and that’s the sheep walking around. We were done shooting and had a little bit of spare time on our hands so decided to try and make this photo we had in mind, it was sunny for the first time so we wanted to make the most out of that. It wasn’t very windy however so the tricks I was trying were not particularly high. About to stop trying and then I got this one lucky gust that went a little bit higher than with most other attempts and so it happened to be that Andy was able to position himself between the sheep and me. To create probably the best photo of the howl shoot and a very iconic one for Ireland and the island of Achill.
